Curator-Led Tour: Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech”

Wednesday, October 5, 2022

6:30–8 pm

Great Hall, 1st Floor

Join us for a private after-hours tour of Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech” with writer and curator Antwaun Sargent. “Figures of Speech,” now on view, traces the late visionary artist and designer’s exploration of the communicative power of design and the intersection of fashion, art, and music. This intimate tour will guide Members through numerous highlights of the exhibition, including never-before-seen objects from the artist’s archive, as well as SOCIAL SCULPTURE, Abloh’s last architectural project and a space for gathering, performances, and artistic collaboration.

This tour is reserved for Trendsetter, Groundbreaker, and Director’s Circle Members, in thanks for their generous support of the Brooklyn Museum. This tour is currently at capacity. To be added to the waitlist, please email individual.giving@brooklynmuseum.org.
