Registration for 2022 is open!
BCAP Summer Camp is an award-winning day camp for kids ages 7–12 (grades 2–7), produced in partnership with six cultural institutions located in the heart of Brooklyn. During our two-week summer program, Adventurers visit two institutions on our Cultural Campus each day, exploring our annual theme through fun, hands-on experiences that weave connections between art, world culture, literature, history, nature, technology, and science.
This summer’s theme is Good Eats! Join us as we explore all the things that make Brooklyn worth savoring. From traditions with family and yummy-looking art to incredible plants and animals that depend on each other to survive—we look at how food tells a story of humans and nature with our different partners across Brooklyn.
Information including camp dates, tuition and scholarships, and registration can be found at bklynlibrary.org/bcap/about.
BCAP is organized by the BCAP Summer Camp Director at Brooklyn Public Library. BCAP’s home base is the Brooklyn Museum, in partnership with Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Brooklyn Public Library, Prospect Park, and Prospect Park Zoo.
