18th century with 20th century inscription
20th-century Hebrew inscription, from the Bible (Genesis 22:13), reads: "And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns; and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt-offering instead of his son." Shofar (ram's horn) hatched with a Hebrew inscription made in the 20th century. Cross hatch decoration on rim of horn; scrolled line decoration in triangle on curve of horn.
Condition: Moderate wear around the lip; crack on rim; ring around rim broken.
