CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION House post of unpainted cedar wood in the form of a creature with human characteristics. At the top of the figure is a curved "cap" form. Below the "cap" is the creature's head with large brows, incised linear almond-shaped eyes, heavy cheeks, a flat triangular nose, an open mouth exposing upper and lower teeth, and a small tongue projecting outward over the central area of the lower teeth. The chin is heavy and the neck is short. Its left arm is folded over its chest and its right arm is at its side. Its body ends above the genital area. The bottom is flat. The back of the figure is roughly carved with little change in depth.
