Ice pitcher, colorless glass, made using Venetian-inspired, "ice glass" technique; classical cylindrical bowl which slopes inward at neck and opens into trefoil rim; applied handle is made of twisted, reeded glass; behind applied handle is glass pouch or bladder in which ice was placed so as not to dilute contents of pitcher; opening of glass pouch is decorated with an applied band of twisted colorless glass.
CONDITION: Very good. No apparent physical or inherent instabilities. No cracks, crazing or hairline fractures - all points of attachments appear strong. Small open cracks on bottom end where pontil was attached. Interior bottom contains layer of dirt, which warrants some cleaning.
