CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Textile, block-printed cotton. Conventionalized garden scene. Horizontal row of red, paired, mirror-image peacocks alternating with ocher sundial between the paired birds and a stylized tree with triangular blue foliage and symmetrically paired ocher birds on lower branches. Second horizontal band with ocher trellis, each grid of which contains a red flower with blue leaves, a red and black bird house raised on a red pole and platform with seven potted topiaries symmetrically arranged between each bird house. Squire's Garden Pattern.
CONDITION: Very good; colors bright, full selvage.
