"CUR" at the beginning of an image file name means that the image was created by a curatorial staff member. These study images may be digital point-and-shoot photographs, when we don\'t yet have high-quality studio photography, or they may be scans of older negatives, slides, or photographic prints, providing historical documentation of the object.

At the ends, the purple strips, flanking the center of the fabric, have a thread overlay pattern. The thread overlay pattern consists of groupings of three threads in even intervals. The weft ends have short fringe, a strip of plain weave, and then an openwork design created by the absence of weft threads. Condition: Good. Fringe is missing from one weft end. Faint staining throughout.
