CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Plaster model of the same subject as 33.588, very evidently made from a mould. Probably the work of a pupil copying from a model. The ears are entirely unworked, the disk is not indicated and the uraeus is incomplete. The mouth appears to have been worked over considerably by the ancient pupil. It is short and protrudes, features not at all typical of the 26th dynasty. Reddish brown stains on the face may be traces of paint but are more probably merely discolorations.
Condition: The lower right corner of the piece is missing. The nose is chipped and the chin may have been partially restored, though it is difficult to determine definitely. Probably the lower part of the piece is missing.
