CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Small limestone stela with figure of Bes as a Warrior in high relief. No inscription. Bes is shown in the conventional pose of a warrior with his right arm aloft presumably grasping a sword. His is nude and wears a headdress probably modeled after the feather headdress. Condition: Base of stela badly chipped and feet of figure are missing. Otherwise good. Considerable traces of red pigment remain on body.
