"CUR" at the beginning of an image file name means that the image was created by a curatorial staff member. These study images may be digital point-and-shoot photographs, when we don\'t yet have high-quality studio photography, or they may be scans of older negatives, slides, or photographic prints, providing historical documentation of the object.
Fragment of relief sculpture in black and red granite. At left, small portion of head of royal personage in sunk relief wearing the blue crown. Balance of relief occupied by rays of the Aten terminating in hands. Some details of lotus flowers. Probably from an offering scene on a stela or temple relief.
Condition: Very fragmentary. Good workmanship in hard stone.
