Catalogue Description:
Red sandstone head. A small and very delicately modeled head typical of the Tell el-Amarna school. There is a dowel on the head which once held the separate headdress. The eyes were doubtless inlaid as they are deep set and hollow. Condition: The rear of the head and the dowel are considerably chipped. The nose is broken. There are large chips on the chin, right cheek and forehead.
